Welcome to Amherst Area Publications, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the saving and sharing of the Amherst, Massachusetts area’s vibrant cultural history. We organized on April 28, 2010 and collaborated with the Amherst Historical Society on our first project – the publication of Harvesting History: Amherst Massachusetts Farms 1700*2010. Our second project was the development of an area network connecting writers and other creative people who want to publish their work with people who can help them do so. To that end, we have produced three publishing fairs with educational workshops and opportunities to meet each other. Our most recent fair was held on June 13, 2015 in collaboration with staff members at Amherst’s Jones Library.
